I concur with dlw.
In “A Man for All Seasons”, Sir Thomas More asks a young, idealistic man, who recently became Lutheran, if he would repeal all the laws of England in order to fight the Devil. The hotheaded fellow said yes. More then asked, “But what then when the Devil goes after you?”, and then points out that no law or civil servant would help him if the Devil decided to counterattack (which I’d consider likely!). The quotation is not exact, but encapsulates the gist of that thought-provoking scene. The film version of “A Man for All Seasons” is highly recommended, if you haven’t seen it yet.
I really do like that movie.
I think that Henry’s lack of faith in God caused unnecessary harm. It would have been better for England to remain a much more independent, mainly Catholic Country that would work for political/religious change among other Catholic countries.

I think that those that seek to raze PP to the ground frustrate making reforms to the abortion-industry to make its practices align more with general public morality.
Read Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. Smart activism must take into account its opponents likely responses. When you actively seek to decimate your opponents, they are not going to be willing to budge or compromise with you and your activism is far more likely to falter completely.

Thanks Emily.
There are some: CareNet and The Nurturing Network provide some medical assistance. They just need funds and more name recognition!
This is the quote I believe Jerry was referencing (and it’s a good one):
Roper — “So now you’d give the Devil benefit of law!”
More — “Yes. What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?”
Roper — “I’d cut down every law in England to do that!”
More — “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned round on you – where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country’s planted thick with laws from coast to coast – man’s laws, not God’s – and if you cut them down – and you’re just the man to do it – d’you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake.”
Why is it that PP gets so much federal funding? For their prenatal care services? Then why doesn’t a pro-life clinic chain open that provides prenatal care at comparable rates to compete with them?
